Any role  you take on will give you a highlight for your CV, showing your willing involvement in a volunteering position, providing value for a rapidly growing Community Interest Company.

Grants Administrator

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Work closely with team leads, secretary and directors to prepare resources for grant applications and papers for review of new and current grant schemes.

  • Outline needs for teams and resources to help and support teams.

  • Apply for grants and work closely with secretary to make sure all policies and accounts are up to date and make sure you have everything you need for grant applications.

  • Track grant applications, grant decisions and communicate these with the team.

  • Prepare papers for the grant review meetings and liaise with the Sunflowers Secretary

Well-being Administrator

You role will entail:

  • Adding new referrals sent to you by email onto the Sunflowers Client Database

  • Referring clients on to the Mental Health Team for assessments

  • Referring clients to Well-being lead

  • Ensuring completion of GDPR forms by new clients, ensuring documented safely on receipt.

Counselling Administrator

You will be responsible for:

  • Replying to all new counselling enquiries from those who are seeking counselling.

  • Referring any volunteer counsellor enquiries onto Volunteer coordinator.

  • Ensuring counselling "contract" is completed and updating the details on the database.

  • Referring clients to the Mental Health Team for assessments.

  • Once assessment confirmed refer onto allocated counsellor of assessor's choice. 

  • Make sure all forms are saved (printed at office) and filled away safely. 

Receptionist

You role will entail:

  • Volunteer job share of receptionist role. / group if on call team but will need rotar completed weekly by administrator.

  • If in the office - to answer phone to all calls and enquiries, passing on messages to relevant teams and leads/directors via Slack.

  • In the case of an emergency to call Safeguard lead or Director.

  • If at home to have phone diverted to mobile but will still do all the above.

 

Please Note: On call phone is currently 9-5 monday to sunday (but we will have a landline installed in the next 2 weeks so this will change to monday - friday on landline number and will make saturday and sunday on call on the mobile number. 

I.T. Support Technician

You will be responsible for:

  • To support volunteers with using slack / give extra training if needed.

  • Support vulnerable clients with computer needs over the phone.

  • May be expanded given skill set

Fundraising Team

You role will entail:

  • Generating Fundraising Ideas, including forming ideas and detailed proposals for the Sunflowers Directors to consider.

  • Arranging events/activities/online ventures from accepted proposals to raise money for Sunflowers CIC.
